  1. 1. Cures for Whooping Cough: get a cup of milk and let a ferret taste it. Give what is left to the person and it would cure him.
    2. If you met a man on a white horse, ask him if he had any cure for the Whooping Cough. Whatever he would say give it to the person and it will cure him.
    3. Another cure is to have your godfather steal the top of a goat's ear and tie it around your neck.
    1. Cures for burns: lick a lizard's belly.
    2. A Posthumous child is supposed to cure a burn by licking it with its' tongue.
    1. Cure for a sty: Make the sign of the cross on it with a wedding ring.
    1. Cure for a corn: Walk barefoot on the dew and put on your boots without drying your feet.
    1. Cure for a boil: Make a plaster of soap and sugar and put it up to it.
