    On St. Bidgid's day the people make crosses and nail them up on the rafters of the house so that St. Bridgid would bless the family.
    On Shrove Tuesday people make pan cakes and put a ring in them so that who ever would get it would be the first to get married in the house.
    It is lucky to get money or presents on Easter morning.
