  1. Lucky & unlucky days.
Friday is a lucky day to move into a new house, or to start any work or to move cattle from one field to another.
It's the opinion of people that if a work is started on Saturday it will be a slow job.
It is thought you shouldn't clean out a house where cattle are on New Year's Day.
Onions should be sown on the shortest day of the year and pulled on the longest day.
April borrows ten days from March & these are called the Riagh days.
