  1. The name of parish is Ogonneloe. It is situated in the barony of Lower Tulla in the County of Clare. There are seventeen townlands in the parish of which the cownland of Carhugar is my townland.
    Carhugar is called that name because it is in the portion of land near at hand. There are nine houses in it. Long ago there were twenty on. The other houses were Michael Cox who lived in Kiely's hill. Vaughan who lived in Ryan's field. John MacDonnell who lived in Vaughan's field. Sherdiain who lived in Ryan's field. Mailey's who lived in Ryans field. Moloney who lived in O'Dea;s field. Conner Sexton who lived in Kielys lane. Hayes who lived in MacKenna's field. Sean Conners who lived in Conways field. Furlong who lived in Conway's field. Sheedy who lived in MacKenna's field and Bush who lived in our field.
