I know where there is a haunted bush and a most remarkable one. It is growing still in the mail roadside and was often sighted from Baltard Castle. It was known as the mailroad bush. There was a little house near it and the boys of the townland used to be resorting at the house by night. The old man of the house was a carpenter and three of the boys took his saw off the bench one night and went out and cut down the bush. The three boys were remarked for doing so and the three of them got "out" after some time on account of cutting the bush. The bush has grown up again.
