  1. The most harmful weed in this district is rushes. It is spreading rapidly all over the district, in some cases covering the hillsides right up to the top. The wet seasons we have had lately are blamed for encouraging its growth.
    Nettles, thistles, and ragweeds are spreading rapidly.
    The people here do not seem to know the medicinal properties of any herbs.
    No tradition connected with any herb or plant and no plants used for dye or poison.
