  1. I heard a story told by Paddy Smith, Laragh parish, Carrickacromin, Co. Cavan.
    The story is:- One time there was a man who had no one belonging to him as they were all dead. He was fairly rich, and one time he was very sick and he sent for the doctor, and the doctor told him that he was going to die.
    There was a maid doing the work for him in the house.
    When the doctor left, he called the maid
