It was held shebeen house and as the entire performance was opposed to the law of the land the police arrived and under the direction of the Rev Robin Kellett magistrate of the district proceeded "to scatter the dance" Tevlin told the tale in verse thus:
    I

    These few verses I relate
    Will be easily understood
    Concerning a great banquet
    Held one night in Billywood.

    Took place on Sunday night
    There was great preparation

    Circled round the tables
In a private inn in Billywood
