“There is a part of the road beside Ballydurrow school...”
(ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)and it is called the "Lonesome Hollow" it is beside a Fairy Fort. One night a number of people were coming from the direction of Ballydurrow they saw two very tall girls as they thought before them.
When the people ran the girls ran also. They appeared first at the Fort and vanished at the "Lonesome Hollow". One evening to other braver boys went to see the "ghosts" as they thought. About 8.30 the same thing happened again. So the two brave boys stepped forward and ran after them, and to their surprise they discovered two young ladies out for a walk in the night air.
