    A glass in the morning is good for the sight and two or three more between that and night. He died in the village of Kilnalick in the years 1882 aged nintey years. There also lived in the parish of Crosserlough two poets named Coyle and Lynch who meeting in company in a public house in Kilnalick Coyle challenged Lynch in the following manner.
    If you are a poet or seen to be hold up your head and answer me. Then Lynch answered in the following manner. Jimmy Coyle I tell you true my name is Lynch from Carrick a crue. My father died when I was young here I remain his only son. My mother wed and gave her hand here I must go to a foreign land. When he composed do far Coyle admitted defeat by replying. Gentlemen dont on me frown I am owned by Lynch I am put down.
