    so they lost another great battle.
    Another great battle that will always be remembered, is one that took place in Lismore domain owing to the shooting of Bell.
    A great battle was then started between the Catholics and Protestants. It lasted for a long time and at lenght a band of guards known as R, I, C cam and settled in Crossdoney where Ralph Eggleson now lives. Thus ended the battle of Lismore, but when things were settled a great raid started, every house was turned upside down in search of Pat Dolan who shot Bell, but they found out that he escaped to America.
