    Come all ye gaelic dancers listen unto me,

    Come all ye gaelic dancers and listen unto me,
    Till I relate for you a note or two about our New year spree.
    When the neighbours all assembled
    There, once more to quench
    Thirst, to the famous Thomas
    Briody's in the heart of Ballytrust.
    From Corduff Cross
    to Mullaghboy, they assembled in their score, from Garrow and Cloncovit and the boys from Aughakillmore.
    As they all did gather in, it was a sight to see, each maid and man walked hand to hand to join in at the spree.
