  1. Now all young men who are fond of fun
    Come listen unto me.
    I'll sing for you a verse or two that outlines history.
    It's how one man did stop a "band' and would not let it through,
    Ah, Molly dear we'll shed a tear, this
    night by the Foggy Dew.

    The band it marched in full strength, itnumbered 29.
    For to welcome back the "Castle-hack" that joined the colours blue.
    Brave Molly's sons, with fifes and drums,
    Marched out on the Foggy Dew.
