    attended. She used to be in good time every day, but she did not attend properly to the sacrifice of the Mass. One morning she was going late, and she ran the whole way to the chapel. This was the only morning she had been so late, but it was the only morning she had been in time, and the only morning she heard Mass well, because when she looked into the box there was only one stone instead of the four hundred.
    It was because she made such an effort to be in time for Mass, she got the grace of hearing it.
