    with their tops turned up, for the purpose of clipping cattle. The mark is usually put on them in the shape of x or in the shape of a cross. When an animal is sold the halter is also given away with him.
    In some towns there are special fairs held for the sale of horses, sheep, pigs etc. A fair is held in a town once a month.
