    I saw '' Banner's Gap '' at Donegal on my way to Strabane,
    I heard them say at Ballybofay
    '' Pat Dolan is on the van. ''
    V To Derry town I next went down where I chanced to
    meet a foe, I met a Peeler on the road
    right well he did me know,
    It is quickly he stepped up to me saying what is the time of day.
    With a crack on the crown I knocked him down saying '' Peeler go your way. ''
    VI To Belfast town I next went down, I called on Barney Mooney,
    He introduced me to a friend
