  1. Wooden utensils were very common. Noggins and spoons we made of wood were used. They had wooden dishes on their dressers.
    They had jolglers on the churn-dash to keep the milk from coming out while churning. They had '' coppins '' in the churns for lifting up the milk. They used busets made of sally rods
    for '' teaming '' potatoes.
    '' Creepies were stools with three legs. Arm-chairs of wicker-work were to be seen. They had wooden spoons for eating porridge.
