    It is said that a person who has warts can cure them by rubbing a snail on the wart and then hanging the snail on a white-thorn. When the snail is dead the wart is dead, but if the snail falls off the thorn the wart will not be cured
    Warts can also be cured by dandelion milk if it is put on often enough.

    The sting of a nettle can be cured by rubbing a dock leaf on it while saying,
    Dock, dock take the sting away.
