    carried the boots under their arm and when they came near the town they put them on.
    Mr. Kinsella, Loggan is the only man who repairs boots in this district. He is not a cobbler by trade - he works with a farmer.
    There is a place in this townland called the tanyard but no one heard of a tannery being there long ago. Part of mr. Rothwell's farmyard is in the tanyard field.
