  2. In olden times people used to hide money under the ground between two flags. There was a treasure hidden under the green in Killamoate, One night about one year ago some men came in a lorry and dug for the treasure. It is said that they found some money and jewels. There is another treasure hidden in the east of Rathduffbeag in one of Mr. Langrells fields. This field is known as the "Bare field" and there is a copper beech tree growing over the
