  1. For a pain in your back, rub the affected part with goose grease.
    A cure for cramps is, rub the affected part with goose grease.
    For pains:- Get the leaves of the tall rag-weed and of the small rag-weed, put them into a cup with enough buttermilk to make a paste, and rub it abut three times on the affected part.
    For toothache:- A frog tied to the jaw is supposed to take the toothache away.
    A cure for chickens with the pip is, dip a feather in turpentine and twist it gently in the wind-pipe and the worms will stick to the feather.
    Sulphur and buttermilk are good for hens with liver complaint.
    A cure for a dog with distemper, is to give it a ball of blue in butter.
    For cattle with ringworms:- make an ointment of sulphur, salt and buttermilk, and rub it on the ringworms.
