    And their courage it was soon pulled down by the boys of Roscomroe

    And when we won the victory we rambled down the town
    To drink success to Roscomroe which won such high renown
    Glass after glass abound did pass till we received a call
    For to go stripped at five o clock against Dunkerrin in Moneygall
    We would have won the victory as plainly to be seen
    Had we not been imposed upon by a traitor called Killeen

    It was liquor that defeated us or courage to regain
    We met the boys of Dunkerrin in Cloghan town again
    They thought that they would beat us we soon did them know
    That no such club could dare pull down the boys of Roscomroe
    Its for Kings County championship we next did go from home
    And we won a glorious victory over haughty proud Shinrone

    Now to conclude and finish all the honors we have gained.
    I hope you will support our club we go hurl again
