    crow is a big black bird which does a lot of damage to crops. The jackdaw is almost the same as the crow only it is smaller. The magpie is a fairly big bird. It is of a black and white colour and it eats eggs. The sparrow is a small brown bird and it does a lot of damage to corn. The robin is a small brown bird with a spot of red on its breast. This is how it got its red breast. Long ago it pulled one of the thorns out of our Saviour's head and a drop of blood fel on its breast. The black bird is a small black bird. It rids our garden of snails and other harmful things. The plover is a fairly big black and white bird. If the plover flies inland in winter and spring it is the sign of bad weather.
    The curlew is a grey coloured bird with a long bill. If its cries are loud, it is a sign of bad weather.
    The pigeon is a big grey bird. Some people
