  1. About forty years ago people used go in their bare feet in Summer, until they were about sixteen years of age.
    Consequently, their feet were hardened and they never suffered from corns like people do nowadays.
    Corns are generally cut by means of some sharp instrument such as a razor-blade, but this should not be done, as it only eases the pain for a time, but it becomes worse later on.
    The proper way to take out corns is by putting Corn Plaster on them for some time and the corns will fall out themselves.
