  1. In various parts of Ireland gold is supported to be hidden . Some years ago men went in search of gold on the land of Mr Ennis , Newbawn , Co Wexford. It is situated about ten miles form the town of Wexford . There were tow men who tried for the gold. They were Mr. Kealy, and Mr Rossiter. They tried in a small field . It is called the Bawn.
This work went of for weeks .People who heard of it determined to frighten them. They decided to go to the field before them , and when they would come they would play music .They played when the pair came . When the pair heard the music they ran away thinking it was the fairies that were playing. They got such a fright that they never tried again.
