    When a person dies in this district the clock is always stopped, the windows let down, and the blind drawn.
    Then the corpse is taken from the bed and put on the floor in a sheet to stretch where it is washed and the habits put on white for a child and brown for an adult.
    When this is done the bed is got ready and dressed all in white linen and muslin looped and tied with black bows or for a child white bows.
