  1. There is supposed to be a buried treasure in a field belonging to Mr Fortune of Spring Field, which is joining the Wexford Road.
    According to the old tradition, before it is discovered a life must be lost in the taking of it.
    On one occasion a number of strangers came to this field and bored the whole field, but as far as anyone here knows they did not succeed in getting any thing of value.
