    About 160 years ago in the townsland of Trinity in the parish of Taghmon there lived a John Hayes.

    About 160 years ago in the townsland of Trinity in the parish of Taghmon there lived a John Hayes. He was a very poor man. He used to believe in stories of hidden treasure.
    One night he dreamt that there was treasure hidden in the ruins of a big house not far from where he lived.
    He was to go there at one o clock in the morning. The next night he dreamt the same until at last he made up his mind to go there. The next night he went to the place and he got a pick and spade and began to dig. He kept digging until he thought he had reached the money.
    He put his hand down to pick up the money and he heard the barking of a dog. He looked up and saw a big wolfhound barking at him. He let go of the gold
