  1. There was a brewery in Tottenhamgreen and Tottenham was the landlord around here owned it. I 1798 he was called to Dublin to take charge of an army. There were no motor cars that time, as then he had to ride a horse and he was shot before he reached Dublin. Before he left for Dublin he hid all his gold and silver. Before he hid it he put it in an iron chest. Under a wall in the backyard of his place he put it and there is a large sycamore tree growing over it.
