Mr Kealing an old man aged seventy three who resides at 13 Hantoon Road, Maudlintown, Wexford can stop bleeding by moistening a small piece of newspaper and placing it on the cut, he holds it firmly.
While doing so he says a prayer, and when he takes off the paper and the bleeding is stopped. About two years ago I cut my finger with an old tin box, and this old man cured it in the above manner. The prayer mentioned is a secret prayer, which a man can tell to a woman or a woman to a man but cannot be told by a man to a man, or a woman to a woman.
