    gooseberry thorn at it nine times and throw the thorn away over your left shoulder. A cure for boils is rub soap and sugar on them as a poultice. A cure for a toothache is put a drop of ammonia on a piece of wadding and put it in a tooth. Cures for burns are: Let a dog lick it or to beat the whites of eggs immediately when the burns occur and rub them to it as this will keep the air out.
