    ham etc, and invite all the boys who were out burying the wren to come to the appointed house on a particular night. They would also send invitations to all the local girls. Some of the girls would be appointed to do the cooking, and with eating and drinking and dancing they would put in a very enjoyable night. If there was any of the food left over a "scrap" dance would be held in a few nights after.
