    the Master brought him up to teach him the Alphabet. He took him between his knees. The Master proposed to slap him and he resented and caught the Master by the legs and him across the wall and down into the pit dislocated his shoulder. He ran home and never returned to school again.

  2. The old school here in Kiltycreevagh was held where Mike Hagan now lives. It was then the home of Master Griffin. He had no salary from the Government of the day only a small sum from each pupil according to the class they were in. He taught from the Primer and
