  1. Long ago there were a great many old local cures besides what there is now--days.
    Some of the people with the cures in this district are Mrs Farrell Mornine who has a cure for a burn.
    Her grand-mother had this cure, and when she was dieing she left it to her.
    She can-not tell it to any one.
    Another person is Mrs Nally Clonscot.
    She has a cure for a sprain.
    She can not tell it to anyone either.
    Mr J Mc Garry Cloughan has a cure for ring worm.
    It was his father who left it to him, and he can not tell it to any-one.
    Mr Mc Cord Ballymahon has a cure for aerociples.
    It was handed over to him from some of his people, and he is not to tell it to any-one.
    It is a great cure.
    Mr Trimble Carrickboy has a cure for yellow jaundice.
    His father handed it over to him before he died.
