    Forbidden: Used in the sense of hateful or annoying. - of a bad girl - "She's forbidden"

    Hash: A cold dry day- or the East Wind, is described as being "hash"

    hot: often said for "hit" e.g."I wup and I hpt him". (a favourite boast)
    Such words as "butter", "matter" "water" etc, are pronounced buher, maher waken, the letter "t" being almost invariably slurred.
    Words having "st" in middle, e.g. "question", "christian" are commonly pronounced "queskin" Chriskin, This is typical of Co. Longford in general, as well as of this district.
