   "God bless us this night and watch over us and keep us safe till morning light."

   This prayer is said at Christmas.
   "Dean Christ Child: give me strength to hide sorrows that with me abide
   To ding the carols with good grace,
   In all the games to take my place
   the shadow in my heart must stay,
   till hide it there on Christmas Day"
