  1. There are not many treasures around Mullingar. In Knockdrin Castle there are two valuable pictures one of the last judgement and the other of the Battle of the Boyne. Very good oak parnells along the wall in the hall which was done by a Stewart Mitchell grand-father of the late Francis Mitchell of Robinstown. Both of the pictures are now hid.
