    Beneath the green banner of Erin
    I'd willingly die on the field
    Ere that to the cold blooded Saxon.
    I'd cowardly falter or yield.
    So uplift the green banners of Erin,
    A stain in no heart let there be,
    But brandish your swords as you swear
    To die or set Ireland free.

    For must we forget all the glories
    That Ireland's children have gained.
    Whilst there's not a plain in old Erin
    That ancestral blood had not stained.
    We will not forget it dear brothers
    Whilst a hilltop on Erin we see,
    And we swear by the green spreading shamrock
    To die or set Ireland free.

    Come rally around, sons of Erin
    Commingle the Orange and Green
