    1. Cure for toothache by visiting St. Colmcille's well on his feast day 9th June - drink the water & wash face.
    2. Cure for toothache - abstain from meat on Tuesdays.
    3. Cure for Backache by swinging from a stone in the ruins at St. Davids Well Donore Kilbeggan
    4. Whooping Cough cured if the godfather ties a ribbon round the child's neck.
    5. Ringworm can be cured by the 7th son of a family.
    6. Mrs Weir 86 lives Bridge St. Kilbeggan can cure sores + burns with ointment made from eldertree.
    7. Mrs Carton aged 36 cures Ringworm with a ring she has from her mother. Certain prayers are to be said for nine days
