    The following people have the cure of ringworm.

    If a woman got married to a man of the same name as her maiden name the woman would have the cure of the whooping cough and the Wild fire.
    If a child was born after his father's death the child would have the cure eyes and sore mouth.

    For the cure of the mumps go round the pig stye three times and say Muc na muc sin é agat do leicne.

    Make the sign of the cross on the wart with it three times stick him on a thorn and leave him there, making sure he wont get away, till he dies and the wart with him.
    Get a straw, make a cross of it and make the sign of the cross three times with it over the wart. Bury the cross in the garden in (clay). According as it rots, the warts die away.
