    to calves and pigs to fatten them. When My Mother is making the butter she takes out the buttermilk first and washes the butter with cold water and puts, salt to taste it, and then she makes it into one-pound prints to sell.
    In the hot weather, the butter is very hard to make up. Sometimes Mother churns three times a week in the Summer, and when cream is so rich and plentiful.
