this churn is out of use as the lead is broking.
My mother bough a new churn last year. It is a Diabole churn and it is all made of steel. There is a bole for the churn and it fits into a grove. This bole is for separating milk as wel as churning. The churn is about two feet high.
It takes about twenty minutes to churn, then my mother scaldes her hands after that she takes of the butter out of the churn then she makes the butter she divides it into pounds and when Saturday comes she brings the butter to the Market and she sells the butter.
