  1. There was a battle fought in the Hill of Ward by Cromwell and he killed the seven Plunkett sons. He envited them to a party in the Hill of Ward and killed each of them on horses going up the hill.
    There was another battle fought in Ballinlough ÓReilly frighned Cromwell. It is said that Cromwell took all his cows and then went into the house and ordered him to go out but ÓReilly went over to a press and took out two swords and two guns and he said to Cromwell which will you have let one be yours and the other mine by these words he frightened Cromwell and he gave him all his cows back and asked him
