    The cure of the sty is to rub seven gooseberry thorns to it.
    The cure for the hiccough is to take some salt.
    The cure for a sprain is to wash it in forge water that is the water in which the blacksmith puts the red irons to cool them.
    The cure boils is to mix breadsoda with boiling water to form a thick poultice. Then you tie the poultice tight on the boil and it will draw all the dirt that is in the boil out.
    The cure for the mumps is to walk around a pigsty three times and say Muic-na-Muice, cure the Leicna. You say this tree times and the mumps will disappear.
