    for doing so. When the weir was built he went to get the bells but could not get them as they got covered with the mud that gathered behind the weir.
    Later on in 1929 Rev. Father Marry, a priest in Yellow Furze employed a man named Murphy to try to discover the bells. After a few days the search was discontinued and the bells still remain in the Boyne.
