    To cut out the shape of the toy on paper doubled so that it will stand. To stuff a cloth with straw, a frayed rope for hair, sticks for legs and arms, stones for eyes. A big potato, with matches for legs and neck and a small potato for a head. A plain box with four polish lids and three straight sticks for a handles will make a doll's pram. Blocks will make dancing masters. Some more make pipes, whistles, baths. Others make a house with a cradle in it. Boys make tops with pieces of wood. Girls make
