    Kidney Trouble
    People collect broom leaves and boil them in water. Then they strain the water off and drink it.
    Whooping Cough
    Give a ferret some milk to drink and when he has tasted it give it to the person.
    Sty in the eye
    Get a gooseberry and point the thorn of it into the eye nine times and soon it will be better.
    Cure for Warts.
    Dip the warts in forge water for nine mornings after each other.
    Cure for Mumps
    A person has to put on a donkeys winkers and be led in and out a stable nine times for three days.
    Sore throat etc.
    Green oil, bees wax, olive oil, camphorated oil mixed together into a thick lotion cures sore throat sore feet etc.
