  1. The Irish people have many strange cures for sores and sickness. Some of them are very good but I think this is a rather strange one. The old Irish people believed in it. It is a cure for warts. A snail is found without looking for him, and he is put on a briar bush with a large thorn through his body and when he withers away the wart is supposed to vanish.
