  1. One night a man was passing Crowe's fort. He was taking a short cut home from his "cuaird". He heard the fairies singing inside in the fort. He sat down listening to them and he went to sleep. As he was sleeping he dreamt that if he saw a halfpenny near a hazel bush that was in the fort, there would be gold found there. The he woke up and he went home, and he went to the fort next morning. He saw the halfpenny near the hazel bush. He was coming home again the next night and he heard the fairies again. He sat down and
