A woman came along one day with a strainer and started to milk into the strainer and She began saying that cow will not fill my vessel. The cow disappeared but she left the print of her foot in a rock near by. - There was once a woman who had a little baby and its father was dead
The lived alone in a small house. The only thing that worried the woman was that she could not buy milk for the child. She used often to cry with the baby
One day when she was crying two holy monks walked into the house and asked what was the trouble. She told her story. One of the monks carried a big staff with him. As she finished her story he struck it against the flag of the door and a cow appeared in the house
They told the woman to milk the cow. She obeyed and gave the to the baby.
The monks went away and left the staff after them.(continues on next page)
